I Am Dina

Our task was to construct a lye tub, which had to topple in a aundry, on location in northern Norway. The tub contained 2000 litres of water and was mounted with steam and air bubbles to give the impression that the water was boiling. Hydraulically operated, it could be prepared for a new take very quickly.

The gear and pawl were mounted for the sake of appearances and it was constructed to make it clear in the film that little Dina causes the accident.
